Case Studies
Hard problems. Real companies. Measured outcomes.
Context
The consulting work here spans consumer real estate, enterprise fintech, and behavioral health — three industries with different users, different stakes, and very different definitions of success. What held across all of them: the fastest path to the right answer is talking to customers before you build anything.
Each engagement sharpened a different edge. Realtor.com was about proving that transparency could outperform deception at scale. Capital One was about redirecting a build that was already in motion. Healify was about building something from scratch, watching it fail, and understanding why deeply enough to rebuild it correctly.
Taken together, they represent the core of how I work: research first, build lean, measure what matters, and don't protect the wrong ideas.
Realtor.com
Lead experience redesign
Replaced a bait-and-switch lead form with a transparent experience, without killing the revenue model that depended on it.
Capital One
Business credit product design
Two slides of research revealed the core premise was wrong. Refocused product became one of Capital One's strongest business portfolio launches.
Healify
Behavioral health platform
Built it. Watched it fail. Became a clinician to understand what I'd been building. Rebuilt it in 2025 with AI.
